Adrienne and Quinn sit on a bed.
Adrienne: And so when I saw that cop, I just knew what was up. Something was just off about him, y'know?
Abúi (off-panel): Mm, mmm.
Panel 2:
Quinn starts to doze off as Adrienne keeps talking.
Adrienne: And him zooming in on the butler like that, without paying attention to the crime scene? The other cop was OK, but clueless.
Abúi (off-panel): Oh, yes!
Panel 3:
Adrienne slaps Quinn awake.
SFX: Slap!
Adrienne: I tried to warn him, but the butler was faster than me. Good for him. You don't get two chances with those insectoid fuckers, y'know what I'm saying?
Abúi (off-panel): Slow, down! No, keep going!
Panel 4:
Adrienne is fiinally getting fed up with the noise from off-panel.
Adrienne: But it was a hot mess and I don't think us Venusians will be- Just a second.
Abúi (off-panel): Yes! YES!
Panel 5:
Wide panel showing Abúi and Monroe fucking, just as everyone reading the first four panels would have expected. Yep, that's the twist, right there.
Abúi: Ah! Ah! Ah1 Aaaahhgnn!
Adrienne: Can you guys keep it down? I'm trying to have a conversation here!
